I'm currently reading/listening to (read at home, listen in the Jeep:) The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. I love it!
The first assignment is to track 1 thing for 3 weeks. My initial choice was food. Of course! We listened in the car during our road trip the other day & Rob asked if I'm tracking finances.
Me: "no! I'm doing food! I need to get my nutrition on track!"
We ride a little while longer & he says: "you already track your food!"
Fiiiiiiine, he's right. As much as I hate to admit that. ;) But, he is!
So, I started tracking finances today.
We've made some major mindless purchases recently (60 inch tv, anyone!?) & we need to get our heads out of the clouds. We want to take a trip to Hawaii as soon as he has vacation time & we're making it so that won't be an easy trip to manage. Wish me luck in completing this 3 week task! :)
