The early mornings have caught up with me. I'm so freaking tired! 


Insanity Max 30 Week 5 Day 4 = max out strength! So many push-ups & lots of ab work. Strength, indeed!

1. Sautéed broccoli, two eggs on toast with cheese, & coffee (double today due to an early wakeup!)

2. Leftover soup! I ended up eating a half of the boys grilled cheese sandwich, too. 

3. Vegan chocolate shakeology, banana, peanut butter, kale, ice, & water 

4. Cottage cheese & a big ass salad! Obsessed with these salads. 


Very happy with my veggies today! Need more protein again. Baby steps. :)

1. Fastest breakfast ever as we ran out the door for a 9:30 field trip, lol #earlyisnotourthing 

2. Leftover soup -- wanted to eat it all again!! 

3. #shakeologyselfie vegan chocolate, banana, peanut butter, kale, ice & water 

4. Nothing like getting in ALL the veggies in one meal, lol salad had romaine mix, radish, tomatoes, cucumber, feta, green olives, sunflower seeds, oil/ACV mix, kitchen sink. Plus roasted cauliflower & cottage cheese  


Could have used more protein but overall, pretty good day! Especially considering we toured a bakery this morning & I didn't touch a thing!!!! :):):)

1. Two eggs on toast with a bit of cheese, sautéed broccoli & coffee 

2. Plain yogurt (bit of maple syrup) with blueberries, vegan chocolate shakeology with pineapple, coconut oil, kale, ice & water 

3. Homemade veggie/potato soup - I could have eaten it ALL!! But, I managed to stop at one serving. #igotgoals

4. Cottage cheese, salad - romaine mix, radish, olives, cucumber, oil/ACV mix


Day 1 getting back on track! I'm using the containers to help get my portions under control, I'm still having my coffee with coconut sugar & milk. Baby steps, this is a lifelong process, I'm making sure I can live with my choices for the long haul. I'm happy with my veggie & protein quantity today! Need to keep it up. :) 


Insanity Max 30 Week 5 Day 1 = max out cardio! I really liked the warmup part of this one.

Spent today planning to jump into the Insanity Max: 30 nutrition plan on Monday. It's time! It might be painful given my sugar & caffeine habits. Ouch. Worthwhile though!

Week 4/day 5 of Insanity Max 30

Week 4/day 5 = Friday fight! So funny, I've been calling it Friday night fight. Oops, lol 
I was NOT feeling it today so I'm really thankful for my 2 day rule. I forced myself to power through a late workout & I'm feeling so much better! 
And, there's something to be said about the free AC of PA in the winter. I didn't max till 20:23!! #BOOM :)

Insanity Max 30 week 4!

Week 4/Day 1 = cardio challenge! #puertoricanedition #longwindededition 
#iMaxedOut at 22:23! I somehow managed to better my time! There's no AC in the main area of our condo & it was 80 degrees out when we woke up (ZERO complaints, I'm loving it!), my ankles were sweating by minute 3 & I was doing football runs through the bedrooms because they have AC. The little fellas were cracking up. :) 
But, I knew this was my final week of month 1 so I pushed myself hard! I love that about this program!!! Anything else I could have faked my way through just to get it done. This one really makes me work. Not gonna lie though, after I maxed, I was DONE!! I finished but without a whole lot of oomph. But, I finished! :) 

Selfie on the balcony = tough in the sun! Yeah, I went there. ;) LOL 

So, I also wanted to add that traveling with these DVDs is a little bit stressful for me. I worry about them getting lost, getting scratched, getting broken! (customer service rocks so it's not a problem getting them replaced but I don't want to be without for any length of time!) I'm SO excited that this is likely the last big trip we'll take that I have to worry about packing them because we'll be setup with live stream by then! Yeah baby!! That's HUGE!!! 1. Mediterranean omelet (spinach, egg, feta) with vegan chocolate shakeology, pineapple, kale & coconut oil. Much healthier variation on my vacation drink of coconut rum & pineapple juice. lol!!

VEGGIES & WATER!!! Still not 100% but holy cow, it's amazing how much you can miss the simple things. We need go grocery shop still, thankful we had enough on hand to make some simple things.

1. Green pepper/cheese omelet, potatoes, bagel with cream cheese & melon 

2. Beverages after working out 

3. Burrito 

4. Appetizer: cheese quesadilla 

5. Veggie pasta. We had an incident at dinner that caused us to leave so I never got to eat this. 


We were delayed again due to the weather. The boys love the pool & ocean here but the hotel is obviously setup for adults only. If we get stuck again, we will NOT stay here again & I work never recommend this place. 

I am however trying to live by these words & not let tonight's incident destroy my mind. 


Insanity Max 30 Week 5 Day 2 = since today was going to be a rest day but we ended up not traveling, I decided to hit the fitness room. Treadmill & weights! Followed by renting a pedal boat & swimming with the boys. I'm tired. lol

I'm hungry. And in a hotel. So, I'm headed to bed rather than hitting a vending machine! 


Insanity Max 30 Week 5 Day 1 = rest day. We were supposed to be traveling today so it was planned. Luckily I planned for today & tomorrow since we'll be traveling tomorrow instead!! :)

3. Last of the leftover alfredo with coffee - needed a boost to get us (mostly) packed up!

Day 5 of the 5 day clean eating challenge! Not a stellar week but I'm so thankful I did this challenge! It helped a ton having the accountability group. :) 


Insanity Max 30 Week 3 Day 5 = none today! Robs last day of work was today so I'm getting my rear back on track.

Day 4 of the 5 day clean eating challenge! I can always use more veggies but otherwise, pretty good day. The challenge is helping me a lot with unexpected meals out!

Week 3/day 4 insanity max 30

Week 3/day 4 = sweat intervals! I died a little. I'm such a sweaty hot mess, lol 
Maxed at 8:01 (mostly modified) & this isn't the greatest picture of me but I had to use it. 
Can you see what's happening???? One kid has a roll of toilet paper at my belly while the other is getting his shoes on to leave. Meanwhile, I'm still in spandex in desperate need of a shower..... lol

3. Unexpected dinner out. After swim suit shopping, so that helped! Guacamole with chips, salad with ranch (so far from clean!), veggie burger with steamed broccoli 

4. Plain yogurt (maple syrup & vanilla extract) with blueberries 


Day 2 of the 5 day clean eating challenge! Aside from unplanned dinner out, it was a good day! So much for my planning skills. :-O 


Insanity Max 30 Week 3 Day 2 = Tabata Strength! I got it done early today. It felt SO good knowing I didn't have to plan for that later tonight. :)

Week 3/day 2 of insanity max

Week 3/Day 2 = Tabata Strength! I haven't worked out early in a loooooong time! 
It was tricky. 
I maxed at 9:29 -- wide pike ups at 21 minutes & this potty seat was shoved under my nose. Full of pooh. :-O Yaaaaaay potty training.......... 
Im glad it's done though! The workout & the pooh, LOL

1 year, 1 month, 1 week, 4 days!! of changing my life! 

Current fitness program: Insanity Max: 30! 

 

1. Two eggs on toast with cheese, vegan chocolate shakeology, banana, peanut butter & kale 

2. Salad (tomatoes, cucumber, sunflower seeds, green olives, raisins, ACV/olive oil) 

3. Popcorn & plain yogurt (maple syrup & vanilla extract) topped with blueberries 

Not pictured: bite size brownies that were too easy to grab when I was distracted & skipped lunch! 


Day 1 of the 5 day clean eating challenge! Pretty good first day! Tomorrow will be better, I'm mindful not to miss a meal! 


Insanity Max 30 Week 3 Day 1 = cardio challenge! It felt good when it was done! Not gonna lie, having to strap on a sports bra for every workout is not my favorite thing! ;)

How did I have pizza twice today? :-O lol 5 day clean eating challenge starts TOMORROW!! Can't wait! 


Insanity Max 30 Week 2 Day 7 = it turned into a rest day. I'm going crazy getting ready for our trip. I missed super Saturday today, too!! Flying with littles is stressful to prep for. But, worth it! :)

Insanity Max 30 Week 2 Day 6 = we did Body Beast Bulk Back instead today. We were both glad to get something done! It could have easily become a 3rd rest day & 2 is my max!
