9 months, 2 weeks, 6 days!! of changing my life! 


PIYO = round 2/week 5 day 2 


1. Vegan chocolate shakeology, banana, spinach, peanut butter, ice, water, 2 waffles with plain yogurt (with peanut butter, maple syrup & vanilla extract), frozen peaches 

2. Pita with cheese 

3. Green beans, leftover potatoes, cheeseburger egg rolls (minus the cheese)


Day 16 of 21 day fix - short on veggies! Rough day. 


Week 5, day 2 = I did Piyo Live today & recorded myself. So. Much. Practice. Needed!

Piyo Live practice



No, no I can't. I did my Piyo Live workout today & recorded myself. Lord help me, LOL 
It was really good practice though! I had to hang sheets over the doors to the dining room because that's become our dump zone. 
And, O popped his head in the first few sets, A popped in for the fourth & the cool down was all me. Except, I forgot to hit record the first time so I had to do it twice. :-O lol......

Day 15 of 21 day fix - light day! I have a sick little fella so I had to work with the time I had which wasn't much. 


Week 5, day 1 = I chose to take a rest/recovery day. Between the sick kid & the Piyo cert yesterday, I am HIT!

PIYO = round 2/week 4 day 6 


Missed the picture, it was too dark & sleepy this morning! Vegan chocolate, banana, spinach, peanut butter, ice & water 

1. Road load!!! Carrots, peanut butter, bell peppers, hummus (didn't end up eating), sunflower seeds, cottage cheese, apple, cucumbers, Larabars 

2. Pizza, Rob treated the little fellas & I needed something simple. Lots of driving & not much sleep! 

3. Plain yogurt with peanut butter, vanilla extract & maple syrup 


Day 13 of 21 day fix - pretty dang good day considering the road trip. :) 


Week 4, day 6 =  today I went to Ohio for #SuperSaturday!! So, I took a rest day. I'll more than make up for it tomorrow!! 

My shoulder were sore tonight & I couldn't figure out why. I kept thinking, all I did was drive today.  Why the heck am I sore!? And then it hit me, oh yeah, Combat yesterday! lol

PIYO = round 2/week 4 day 4 


1. Corn flakes (organic version) with whole milk - yellow container 

2. Lunch out at #wholefoods - vegetarian general tso & a larabar for dessert (better choice than cake! Red & purple (??) containers 

3. FRUIT!!!!!!!!!! lol Purple

4. I'm sitting down with the mountain right now. Not great to eat it all at once but, my body NEEDS the nutrition! So, it is what it is. :) 

Plain yogurt (with maple syrup & vanilla extract, sunflower seeds, frozen peaches, bell peppers, cottage cheese, cucumber/tomato salad with oil & apple cider vinegar, a pita with cheese, vegan shakeology with banana, spinach, peanut butter, ice & water - ALL the containers! lol 


Day 11 of 21 day fix - rocky start to the day but FINALLY went grocery shopping! 


Week 4, day 4 = I swapped out full body blast for strength intervals. Got 'er done! :)

Piyo week 4

We FINALLY got out to grocery shop today so I didn't get my workout done first thing. 
Unfortunately, a second little fella went down with the sickness while we were out. Thankfully, the first is feeling all better though so I was fooled into thinking we were safe to roam! 
I did NOT want to do my workout when we finally made it back home. Tomorrow is the babies birthday & we bought them new Leap Pads. They LOVE them!! Kept showing me what they were doing & we were just having a great time fiddling with them (yes, they got them a day early - I have self control issues, ok!? lol). 
I very nearly called it a second rest day. I was supposed to do Full Body Blast & there was just no way. I went with Strength Intervals because I knew it would be fast & fierce! Bing, bam, BOOM! It's done. Heck yeah!! :)

PIYO = round 2/week 4 day 3 


1. Vegan shakeology, spinach, ice & water with cinnamon raisin toast topped with peanut butter 

2. Veggie soup (I skipped the noodles, too soggy leftover!), plain yogurt (peanut butter, vanilla extract & maple syrup) 

3. Pita with hot cheese 

4. Spaghetti (a purple container of sauce with a yellow container of noodles is not balanced, lol) with green beans & garlic bread (ezekiel) #biblebread

5. Sunflower seeds


Day 10 of 21 day fix - yellow container overload. I'm missing a picture!? Peanut butter with chocolate chips. #yum


Week 4, day 3 = rest day! Still had a sick kid so we missed homeschool co-op but I decided to keep the same day off this week. Fingers & toes crossed the illness is gone soon!!!!!

Day 9 of 21 day fix - much better day today! Except for the lack of fruit. Wth!?

Week 4, day 1 = Strength Intervals! I'm glad it was a short one. My clingy little fella added some intensity to it!

Stats!! Week 3/round 2 of Piyo

It's STATurday!!

Yesterday, the little fellas kept me humble by 'playing music' on my belly while I got dressed for the day. 
This morning, I decided to step on the scale because I haven't in a while. The scale laughed at me as it reflected a number higher than when I started Piyo in July. 
BUT, I pulled out the tape measure & guess what? I'm down 3 more inches overall! That makes 14.5 inches since July. 
Please do NOT allow yourself to be fooled or deterred by one method of measure. I was obsessed with the scale for SO long & it messed with my head. Back then, I would be cutting food & giving up on my exercise right now, convinced that what I was doing wasn't working. I'm so thankful for my change in mindset & the knowledge that hard work does pay off if you stay consistent.

5. Carrot sticks & olives (not eaten together, lol)


Day 4 of 21 day fix - #keepitreal I way over eat spaghetti! Especially spaghetti with cheese baked on top. I won't be making that again for a while. #imhuman 


Week 3, day 4 = Core! I got up & got it done early. Love days I can feel lazy but I've actually already completed my workout. :):):)

3. Yeah, that happened. Traded out a yellow container. 

4. Two waffles, peanut butter, plain yogurt (tsp of maple syrup) & pomegranate 

5. Pooh-pooh platter: hard boiled eggs & broccoli 


Day 3 of 21 day fix - I fell face first into the trail mix. I'm still doing way better than I was so I'm happy. :)

Day 2 of 21 day fix - nailed all my containers! Overdid it on cheese again but better than I've been doing. :) #dangerzone 


Week 3, day 2 = Piyo Buns! I attempted doing Insanity in front of the camera. Unsuccessfully due to all over soreness, lol

Piyo week 3/round 2 - do you video?

I attempted to record myself working out today so I could critique myself for instructing & because it's something I need to work on (I make funny faces! lol). But, my muscles are still so exhausted from the cert class Sunday that I couldn't even get through the Insanity warmup. lol 

I turned to the Piyo schedule & did Buns instead! Not an easy workout by any means but I was able to get through it! 

Tomorrow will be a much needed rest day. :) 


Week 3 day 2 of Piyo = complete!

PIYO = round 2/week 3, day 1 


1. Vegan chocolate, strawberry, peanut butter, ice & water 

2. 2 eggs with sautéed bell peppers 

3. Cottage cheese & carrots 

4. Roasted cauliflower with baked cheesy spaghetti 

5. Leftover containers to meet the days requirements: frozen peaches, waffle with peanut butter & partial purple of blueberries, sunflower seeds, plain yogurt with vanilla extract & partial purple container of blueberries 


Day 1 of 21 day fix - nailed all my containers! Might have overdone the blue (cheese) & teaspoons (peanut butter) though! Baby steps. :) 


Week 3, day 1 = Piyo define: upper body! Soooooo sore from yesterday but I'm glad I did this workout. I feel way better afterward! :) 

I need to sit down tomorrow & watch Indanity so I can start practicing. :)

Insanity certified instructor!

Today's workout was very different from the usual! I became certified to teach Insanity!!!! I'm exhausted (so much working out involved! lol) & that was so far out of my comfort zone but I'm SO happy I did it!! :):):) Big thanks to Rob for encouraging me to go for it. :) 


So much information today. I can't wait to put it into practice! I can't sit on it for long because the fear will rebuild & I can't let that happen. :)

Clean eating challenge ended yesterday. I ate those cheese sticks this morning & insta-headache! #BOOM cause & effect

Bright side? This is one of my most feared programs & I ROCKED that workout. Except for the push-ups, need to work on the push-ups, lol

1. Oatmeal with whole milk, peanut butter & maple syrup  

2. Pita with provolone, 2 eggs & tomato 

3. Bell peppers

4. Plain yogurt with maple syrup & raspberries 


Day 4 of the clean eating challenge!  Failed to plan today but still rocked it! :) 


Day 11 = Piyo Core! & Body Beast bulk arms. Made up for the unplanned break yesterday, lol

I woke up with the itch to workout this morning so I pressed play right away! And, done.  

Week 2 day 4 = Core! I know I'm doing those side planks wrong because they hurt my shoulders. I WILL MASTER THEM!!!!! lol

Morning Shakeology: Vegan chocolate, banana, peanut butter, spinach, ice & water 

1. English muffin with peanut butter & cinnamon 

2. Apple

3. Packed lunch out: cucumbers, bell peppers & sunflower seeds 

4. Raspberries 

5. Tortilla chips, cheese, black beans & bell peppers 

6. Plain yogurt with vanilla extract & peanut butter 


Day 3 of the clean eating challenge! I was sooooo close to ordering a pizza on our drive home tonight. Thankful I fought that urge. :)

Day 10 = rest day! Unplanned swap with Friday. First day of homeschool co-op kicked my butt today!

2. Plain yogurt with maple syrup & blueberries 

3. Pickles

4. Nectarine 

5. Cottage cheese 
6. 1/2 banana with peanut butter 
7. More cheese 
8. Snack day wasn't enough for me & I needed more. 3 eggs & 2 veggie burgers 


Day 2 of the clean eating challenge! Loving this challenge!!!! It feels great to be back on track. :) 


Day 9 = define: lower body! Followed by Body Beast bulk legs with Rob. I'm going to feel that tomorrow, lol

1. Lunch out: falafel & hummus snack pack 

2. Larabar as I ran out the door after my workout. 

3. Cucumber/tomato salad with apple cider vinegar, sautéed broccoli, veggie burger (2) with bell peppers 

4. Frozen peaches


Day 1 of the clean eating challenge! Mostly nailed it. ;) 

The sugar detox is in full effect! I might have more fruit before bed. 

I need to up my water intake tomorrow!! 


Day 8 = Sweat! Struggled but got 'er done!

Transformation Tuesday, 8 month mark

I don't think I've ever posted a #transformationtuesday photo? But, coming up on my 9th month of getting fit seemed like as great a time as any! :) 

In December of 2013, I reluctantly took these photos (wearing an old pair of sweatpants cut into shorts because NOTHING else fit me!). 

I had started T25 & was determined to stick with it so I knew I should take them. I never in a million years thought I would be sharing them with ANYONE though!! lol 


8 months later, a whole lot more than just my workout gear has changed! :)

I've completed T25, 21 Day Fix, Piyo & part of Les Mills Combat (I paused it for Piyo). And I'm currently doing a mix of Piyo & Body Beast along with Rob. #BOOM #girlslifttoo


I'm also a Beachbody coach now, I started 'for the discount' on all those programs I wanted to try. And, because I couldn't shut my mouth about the products so I figured I should make some cash if I could! lol I never anticipated the true potential & how much that choice would change my life though. We recently bought our new Jeep & we just made the first payment with my BB income. :):):):)


The time will pass, what you do with that time is up to you. I'm so thankful for the choices I've made. :)

Piyo, week 2/round 2

I had a total & complete case of the Mondays today. I did NOT want to workout! Then, I convinced myself to just push play because I always feel better once I start. 

Around minute 28 (36 minute workout), I started to feel it...... when suddenly...... I hear shoes flying at the ceiling fan in the next room. The little fellas didn't nap today so they were in rare form. 

I went to stop the chaos & discover they've both pooped. 

I never got my groove back but I DID finish!! 


Week 2 day 1 = Sweat! I was not happy with all those push-ups, lol

1. Breakfast out: eggs, home fries, pancakes, mandarin oranges  
2. Road snack: the bag was dusty on the shelf but not expired. lol 
3. Cheese pizza (1 slice! that's a big deal, lol) on the turnpike 
Clean eating challenge starts TOMORROW!! So looking forward to the sugar detox. #nosarcasm

Day 7 = define: upper body! It was a rough one with no mat on a wood floor but, I got 'er done!! :)
